I should have specified that I meant a non-linear relationship between charge and powder. As you note, ray, even a linear reduction in pressure (peak or total area under the curve) can exhibit non-linearity in velocity, although I wouldn’t expect that to vary by powder - bullet and barrel characteristics seem likely to be the main drivers of that.

Going from memory (which for me is a dangerous thing) in it's charge range for me in 9mm it seems fairly linear velocity wise in the loads I have tried but I have never plotted it out to see how close it really is.
Something to test this winter when it's not 105+ outside.
Charge range/powder/graph
So many things to try so little time, sigh.

Berrys 124 RN over 5.2 grains CFE Pistol, 1.140 OAL.
Std dev. 12
1090 fps
135 PF
Very accurate from my CZ P09, up to 100 yards steel plinking.

That's the 124gr. equivalent of the 115gr. Berry's/5.6gr/1.13" load I posted earlier in this thread. Get CFEP into a pressure range it likes (30,000+ psi), and it sings reliably. For a powder with its burn rate, that essentially means full power loads in 9mm. The 115gr. version is impressive from my P10C; I'm sure your load works great in the P09.

Yes sir, the P09 just like 124 slightly better. Also, very clean burning and meters well.
