I started buying HG's online a little over four years ago. I've had some pleasant surprises and a few disappointments.

Then I got my C&R FFL and really began to have fun. Not all my online purchases have been C&R since then, but most were.

In your experience, which have been the most productive and pleasing online sales sites? I need some "fresh blood", or ideas for new sources (especially C&R, but not limited to such).

Thanks.:)

I go to "Gun Auction". They have a C&R section and mostly very good pictures and descriptions.

Online HG Buying

I started at Guns America a couple of times, then Guns International as many or more before becoming dissatisfied. Their search method became too difficult to manuver, and / or didn't have what I wanted. One of the sellers (who had more than one business name) didn't sell the gun I wanted, making excuses (had a multiple buyer or have a deal going, etc.), and these guns remained onsite for several months. And, I was offering to pay / buy at the price and terms he offered. This guy is on both GA and GI with identical ads. Whenever I'd come to his business(s) name(s), I'd skip the ad.

At places like : AIM, Classic Firearms, and J&S Sales, I was usually satisfied, but most (not all) were military surplus C&R, which seems to have dried up or become more expensive. I like these guys.

Mostly at Gun Broker and Gun Auction, I would skim only. I don't like auctions, which don't have a fixed price and wind up being more expensive.
Heck, I once "accidentially" bought a Bersa Thunder on GB because my seemingly "low" bid, wound up being the "high" bid. So far, I've not been displeased with my buy.:D:D

Gunbroker and AIM are my current favorites. The sellers that I really liked on Gun Auction have quit selling there.

The auction part of Gunbroker can be annoying, but you can get some excellent deals if you are patient. I might bid on five or ten of a certain model before I win one for the price I want. But I have more spare time than spare money, and pursuing the exact model I want for the low price I am willing to pay is a sort of "thrill of the hunt" thing for me.

Unless someone posts a link to look at something I only visit Guns International. Just ordered my first gun on line from there, because I could never find one locally. I will have to see how it goes.

Guns International

PabloJ,
I bought several through GI, and most deals were fine.
GI is a site and has several dealers. "The Deal" mostly depends on the dealer.
Buena fortuna on your purchase. Please let us know how it turns out.

I don't buy as many guns as some here do but I recently made my 4th online purchase. It was from WhittakersGuns.Com. The first I bought from online was from a dealer on gunbroker a few years ago. The 2 I did in between were both from PSA. To date I haven't really had a bad experience buying online. I pretty much just like to keep an eye on slickguns.com.
