Economy Autoloader Please

like lee N.Field said about all autoloaders being under $400.00.

If you know how to shop used, and if you can find CDNN deals new, most any popular autoloader can be had for under $400.00.

Korth, Sig 210, Desert Eagle, and Custom .45's are the exception to the rule.

Like there's a bad CZ.

Lots of people would consider the CZ100 a bad CZ. While I will allow that the trigger pull was horrendous, it was still accurate and reliable. It just wasn't any range fun, so I sold it. CZ75, 85 are excellent guns, but new, I've been seeing them just over $400, maybe $410 or $425. Not terribly outside the budger here.

Remington Rand 1911 for $45 out the door at a gun show. Of course that was in 1965 just before I got selected to go fight Godless communism and protect dominoes.

Heard the price has gone up so I guess timing is everything after all.

I have two . . .

. . . and together they still cost less than $400.

For plinking & "woods" gun, Walther P-22.
For "always" gun, Kel-Tec P-32
For serious social encounters, Taurus PT-145 Millennium Pro.

With no hesitation - Taurus Milennium Pro PT145.

Outstanding pistol at a great price!

For plinking and cheap practice, my Ruger Mk II with iron sights; for cheating, my husband's stainless Mk II, with a bull barrel and a scope! (It's not really even shooting, more like poking holes in the target with a pencil).

For more serious shooting, the EAA Witness Compact in .38SA, Star BM (9 Para) or any of the carry guns below.

Carry: Star BKM (alloy frame!) or PD (also alloy, .45) for everyday. Star BKS with nickled slide, dove-grey anodized frame and walnut grips for formal events ;), or the delightful Star Super S (.380) if concealment is needed. ...The Star S is the least-expensive gun I've yet bought ($125, used and with a crummy magazine) and one of the best-shooting, despite insignificant sights. You boys might find it a bit too delicate, as it's a kind of slenderized "dollhouse edition" 1911, right down to the barrel bushing and recoil spring with a plug end and half-length guide rod. For me, it is the perfect compromise between small enough to conceal and big enough to shoot accurately.

Beater: Ballester-Molina! I think mine was used as a hammer (or maybe a tent peg) by the original owner. If I owned a truck, this would be the "truck gun."

All of those were bought for less than $400, most of them well under.
