I have been watching part of the trial and this morning I watched as FDLE Firearms Expert give sworn testimony regarding the Kel Tec PF9 that Zimmerman used in the shooting.
She stated that the pistol had a hammer block safety which it does according to Kel Tec's website, but FAILED to state that the pistol has another safety, being the trigger disconnector which prevents the pistol from being fired if out of battery, ie if the muzzle is pressed hard enough on any object that offers enough resistance such as a contact shot.
This could be an important piece of information that was over looked by all.
