DMF and "opponents": Get off it. Anybody who thinks all gun dealers are perfect, forget it. Anybody who thinks that some ATF folks haven't abused the law, forget it. Of the total numbers of licensed dealers, and of the total numbers of ATF agents, SOME will deserve whatever bad name you care to use. MOST won't.

IOW, a bit more objectivity, please.

DMF, have you read the proposed law? Are there items that I--or hammr4nc--might think are minor which you would consider major?

Well,

All I know about this I have heard from my local gunshop owners.

Two of them to be exact, one in business since 1975, the other inbusiness since 1946.

Both shops have not lost any guns in the last 10 years or more, but both are afraid of losing their licenses if I abreviate the county city state or anything else.

So there must be something to the idea that the ATF Harrasses law abiding gun dealers, cause they are Darn sure paranoid about those abbreviations.

Crooked Gun Dealers and the BATFE

Crooked gun dealers, even drug-selling, gang-arming gun dealers, if any exist, wouldn't and don't affect the freedom and liberty of myself, my children, the Bill of Rights, or the Constitution now or in the future. They can be handled.

The BATFE, however, is a danger to me, my fellow sportsmen, my children, future generations, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, liberty, freedom and rule of law.
