Yeah Delmar, it is a nice dream. The NRA is an organization I'd like to see return to it's roots too, but we're faced with today's realities and right now, we need that 800 pound gorilla. We just need to find some way to get it to do the tricks we want it to rather than letting it dictate what we do.

In 75 years from now, I'm going to be a pitiful old slob in a wheelchair, rolling into a classroom to explain toddlers about "the old days". And I'll tell them guns were virutally illegal in many parts on the world. And some kid will say: "The BANNED GUNS? But WHY WOULD ANYBODY DO THAT?"
