FEG .380 (PPK clone) grip question

Quicky question about the FEG .380 that's a PPK (or PPK/S) clone...will the grips on that thing interchange with a Walther?

They look like good little pistols, but I'm left-handed and the goofy thumbrest for a right-handed shooter gets in the way.

you will need to make your own . It easy . On first set might be few mistakes So just buy a whole tree and get started I made a set for my Bersa once.

Stay away from the FEG PPK or High Power clones. A buddy of mine had both. The PPK had the very worst jam of any pistol I have ever fired. Piss-poor manufacturing was to blame. If you really want a PPK, buy a Walther.

My FEG PA 63 has been perfect, I have no problems with FEG pistols. Mine is pretty accurate to boot too. But it is in 9x18 Mak, not .380.

FEG generally makes really good products. They may not be the best pistols out there but they are pretty good. BTW there are several .380s made by FEG. The SMC-380 and the PA-63. I think the SMCs were closer the the actual design of the PPK and were a little nicer in qulity. The PA-63s are really inexpensive, light, and everyone I know has been very satisfied withe them. I have never cared for the shape of the grip.

The only suggestion that I have for the PA 63 in 9x18 Mak is change the springs!! It worked just fine with the original springs but really rocked my hand. I installed a #13 recoil and #11 hammer spring, and it feels like a new gun. Not as hard on the hand, and a lighter trigger pull too. Both springs are really easy to change too.

Good advice. A lot of people forget the slide has to bear against the hammer and the pressure of the hammer spring to recock the hammer. A heavier hammer spring can sometimes help recoil. It will give you a heavier double action trigger pull but depending on the weapon the trigger may offer enough leverage that it gives you more benefit on the recoil but less effect on your trigger pull.

I have a SMC380 and......

......my buddy has a PA-63 in 9mm Mak. Mine has a stiff double action but is softening with use. I've heard and read the same about the PPK. Pretty accurate and reliable. My buddies PA 63 had a horrible trigger but invested a little cash for some springs and now it's as good as mine. We think they're good pistols. As for wood grips go here:

+1 on the Marschal grips,I have an SMC-918,the same gun in 9mm MAK,and Denis made me a set in Zebrawood,the looked so good he has photos of my actual grips,3rd ones down on the right...
