Ok; so I ordered springs for my 32auto AP-MBP. Was told it was the same spring set as for the P63 9mm mak version.
According to Wolff specs, the original hammer spring was a 16lb. I replaced it with an 11 lb. Most say that the #9 is too light. Easy enough. I also replaced the standard 11 lb recoil spring with a 15 lb. 2 part question:
1) Do you think the 15 lb recoil spring is too much, and should I leave the original 11 lb in it?
2) Do I HAVE TO REPLACE the firing pin spring if I replace the recoil spring? Is it a better or stronger spring that's needed because of the stronger recoil spring. (They obviously include one with the recoil spring for a reason).
The thing is; it seems like a royal PITA to replace the firing pin spring. I read different posts on numerous forums, but I'm not quite sure I understand getting the safety out and replacing the firing pin spring without the dreaded (SPRINGS POPPING OUT ALL OVER THE PLACE) warnings. Any thoughts????? Thx.... Mike.....
