I told him I would post it on the gun boards I go to.

My house was broken into over the weekend (from what I can gather, it was at about 4:30 Sunday morning) and all of my guns were stolen. I'd appreciate any information that anyone might hear of concerning any of the following items:

* Colt 38 Revolver "Official Police" model S/N 651210
* Sears Roebuck 22 "Pump" Rifle S/N 102.35 (quite sentimental)
* Walther P-38 Semi Auto Pistol S/N 002876E
* Ruger Mini 14 Rifle S/N 180-42195 ("Made In The 200th Year Of American Liberty" is engraved on the receiver)
* Universal M-1 Carbine S/N 64972
* Marlin Model 9 (9mm ranch rifle) S/N 08690609
* Norinco SKS Rifle (with folding composite stock) S/N 210020690
* Ruger 10/22 Rifle S/N 239-05295
* Norinco Mac 90 Rifle (AK-47) I don't have the S/N but it has a pistol grip and a custom made muzzle brake

Several of these guns are quite uncommon and at least one is irreplaceable.

Also stolen was a Sony DSC-P71 Digital Camera, a few sheathed knives and about $250 dollars of rolled coins in an ammo box.

Whoever it was went primarily for the guns and took little else.

If you know of anyone who has seen any of these items, please let me know and please send this to anyone in the area that you know of who might be interested in guns.

I'd certainly appreciate it!

That's in Texas, by the way.

Followed the link to the thread and saw one poster's observation that it was likely someone who had visited the house before the burglary. I'll second that guess. It was either someone who saw the guns, or someone who heard from a friend of a friend of a friend that so-and-so had a whole bunch of guns.
