Felt recoil from a shooting rest - question

Sandbags can be very cheap, or even free. I have a bunch I made from old blue jeans. I only paid a few bucks for the play sand. Use play sand, not construction sand.

Yay.

It worked fine. Yeah, I had to put them back on the rest after every shot, but I was able to get the gun zeroed, and my shoulder survived.

Some velcro straps will be your new best friend. They should hold the weights secure.
