FFL types 04 and 05?

Hi all,

I have been looking into getting a type 07 ffl and an SOT. In my research I noticed type 04 and 05 ffl's were missing and I cannot find any information on what they are. Any ideas???

Perhaps they were used to sell ammunition before 1986 ?

I think this thread is worthy of a bump. I couldn't find a single word about 04/05 FFL types.

Maybe an FFL with an old rules and regulations book might be able to shed light on this?
