Does anyone know if anyone is making a fiber optic front sight for a Colt Python?
Also does anyone have any input on Millett's rear adj. sight for same?
As my eyes seem to be changing I find it harder to get a good sight picture.
I put a fiber optic front sight on my S&W and it makes quite a difference.
I can line up the sights on the target a lot faster.
Thanks for any info.

One by one, I'm replacing all my Python rear sights with Millett's rear sights: they're plain old-fashioned better. You get finer increments of adjustment; the adjustments are easier to sense, and you get greater vertical and horizontal travel. Cheap? No. Excellent? Yes.

I've never been able to find replacement front sights for Pythons. I've always preferred Patridge sights .10" in width rather than ramped sights .125" wide. I loathe, detest, and despise red inserts.

My friendly local gunsmith makes them for me for about $30 a shot. Yours could make a fiber optic base from scratch, or else modify an existing sight.

Hey Wolf,
There's someone who stocks those Patridge front sights for Colts.
I bought some not too long ago for my Pythons.
If you are interested, I'll have to go digging through my old paperwork to find where they were located and a phone number.
Just let me know before I do the diggin'. :D

Hey Wolf,
I sent you a PM with the info.
Let me know if you need anything else.

Hey, I could use a couple extra Pythons myself.

Jeff, Thanks for the info

You guys are welcome.

By the way Wolf, that's the snubbie I still need as well.

Hi Majic,
thanks for the info.

Wolfy, how can you say you NEED a PYTHON MORE than me ?

Are you joining a Python cult and they won't let you join unless you have one ? :D

Wolfy, how can you say you NEED a PYTHON MORE than me ?

I'm a lot older than you, son, so I've probably got fewer years left to enjoy my (as yet hypothetical) 2.5-inch stainless Python, and besides, I've got only one stainless Python so far, and it's feeling discriminated against by the blued models.
