Colt Cobra/Python Front Sights

Does ANYBODY sell a ramped blade style (plain black) front sight for one of the "new" Colt Cobras or Pythons (the ones with the set screw which comes in from the front)? I've got a King Cobra Target with the fiber optic sight and just can't make myself like it. I'd much rather have a plain black ramp and then paint part of it with some great green-yellow (or yellow-green) lacquer fingernail polish which I found.

Possibly check with Colt. I’m not familiar with their pattern, but it’s possible that something can be adapted. The photos I’ve seen were pinned. Later are held by set screw from the front.
A real gunsmith would be able to manufacture one, but it won’t be cheap.

I swapped my dual pin front to a patridge and the Elliason rear to a full blade.....both from Kensight

FWIW in The Walking Dead the lead dudes Python was a dual pin front in some shows and a single pin in others.

Maybe other flubs but I caught that one LOL

Brownell's lists only a fiber-optic or dot with tritium insert. Both OOS.

Perhaps there's another source for the gold bead front sight that comes stock in the King Cobra 3" -- haven't seen any plain black ramped front sight blades for the new KC or Python.

Thanks, but no luck with Bowen. Colt CS suggested I contact Marble. Said they make all the sights for Colt. No reply so far.

I purchased a red ramp front sight for my new Colt Python that I found on eBay about 2 weeks ago. I did scan back but was unable to find the the site. Found the sight by just searching ''Colt Python front sight" and it was a simple installation.

I'll keep monitoring eBay. If I could get one of those orange ramps, I could give it a coat of Brownells black paint and then hit the top with the fingernail polish I've got. Thanks!
