I had decided yesterday after shooting my Buck Mark so much better than my CZ 75B that I needed a fiber optic front sight on the CZ. What are you're thoughts about FO sights in the 75B? One's from Angus, or Hi-Viz, or Tru-glo or whatever else is out there? Which do you folks find work and hold up the best. Is one better than an other?

Thanks for any input.

I put on the Custom Shop Competition rear and 1mm dia. FO front sights to speed up target acquisition.

PLUSSES + MINUSES:

Target acquisition is very fast with this combo. IMO black iron is best for pin-point accuracy, but for speed the FO wins hands down.

It's easy to change the front sight , but the front sight wasn't drilled for the stake pin. It fit so tight I haven't worried about it for several thousand rounds. The half-moon slot for the pin can be done with a file or a drill bit easy enough if you are concerned.

With the Comp rear sight my 6.5mm tall FO was a little too short (shot 3" high at 25 yards) for precise POA.
I later bought the 7.5mm tall FO and filed it down a skosh and it's close to right on.

IMO If you want to shoot shotgun shells at 25 yards, stick with iron sights.

If you want to shoot fast, especially at shorter ranges the FO is perfect. Don't get me wrong, you can make fast double taps that look like snake-bites, but the FO rod is not a benefit for slow very accurate shots.

I love it.
