Fiberglass Pen for removing rust

My friend who has a late 1950s Mk1 Hi-Power with a completely worn off finish, has occasional rust spots show up on his gun. He has found the perfect solution to removing these patches of surface rust off his gun: He simply uses the fiberglass pen he has for cleaning up electrical contacts (mostly removing oxidation) prior to soldering.


Thought I'd pass on the tip for anyone who happens to have one.

Don't do it on a gun that doesn't have a completely worn off finish!!

Cause it will have after you use it!
