Recently my mother-in-law got done with chemotherapy. We were sitting around the gunstore discussing that, and decided to donate a gun to charity. We decided to paint it pink. So we took it back to our gunsmith ( www.gundoctor.wordpress.com ) and he told us that his mother had gone through the same thing, and that he wasn't going to just paint it pink, but he wanted to do a cool paint job.

So FBMG donated a Stag 15. Joe did a custom pink, grey, white Duracoat camo pattern. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Tickets are $5. We will announce the winner at our October 4th machine gun shoot. All federal, state, and local laws apply.

All the details about how to get tickets are in the link above.

If the winner is a resident of a state with sucky gun laws, we’ll do what we can to make the gun compliant, but if you’re a resident of California or someplace equivelent, we can sell it for you and send you a check.

I'm sad, but I'll get a ticket anyway!

great cause and great idea

question though- i started the checkout process but it lists the price as $0...?

Sent paypal for two. Definitely a good cause. My aunt had some really aggressive breast cancer awhile back, and her and my mom are identical twins...

PayPal'd for 5 tickets.

Great cause, and the gun will be good for plenty of hilarity at the range. Also, I imagine the gun and the story behind it would be great for winning converts while taking new shooters to the range.

Perhaps if this situation arises, the unfortunate winner would consider placing the gun back up for auction again, thereby doubling the charitable contribution.

If I hadn't lost my bank card I would pick up a few now. I will surely be sending money for a couple chances, and a couple contributions. Great cause!

I just found out that I entered the information wrong on the FBMGinc.com shopping cart. That's why it is coming up as zero. I took it down for now, and will get it fixed later today. The guy that actually has a clue on the web stuff is travelling today.

will be buying some on payday. My mother is a cancer survivor, great cause guys. I hope everyone can pitch in and buy at least one ticket and help make a difference in some lives.

Thanks for posting that, Larry. I'll have to get a few tickets for my wife. Its for a good cause, and it will surely piss off mayor bloomberg (left lower case on purpose), which is another good cause. :D

I sent money for 5 tickets to your other PP site a few days ago, when LawDog announced it. I included a message on the payment that it was for the "pink thing." I didn't think to specify that the "pnk thing" was NOT a pink gorrilla suit. :D

I love using PP for this kinda thing. Sort of a spit-in-their-eye action, eh?

I ordered some, good to talk to a fellow THR member on the phone! And so far, they are definitely NOT biting over there!

I won't win, but I bought 4 tickets anyway. My mom is a breast cancer survivor and virulently anti-gun. Kind of ironic.

Great idea and thanks to all involved.

Sincerely,

Prof. A. Wickwire
