file a bevel on takedown pin

will fileing a slight bevel on the takedown pin on a Taurus TCP 380 have any effect to the integrity of the pistol? Once removed there is a retaining spring in the hole that is a bear to get the pin past. I'm thinking a small edge on the pin, just enough to get past the spring, will be the ticket to this problem.
 
If you are talking about the very end that goes out the other side?

I agree.
Just don't bevel it enough you lose frame support on that side.

Don't bevel the notch the spring rides in to keep in in the gun however.
