Finally Did It.

Well, I finally talked myself into buying an AR 15. Mine is a Stag Arms Model 3. Right now I have a cheap Simmons 3x-9x on it until I decide on what I really want to have on it. With Wolf Brown Bear .223 62 gr HP's it will shot into 1 1/2" at 100 yards. I thinking of puting a red dot unto it but I'm not sure about that just yet. If I do will I need to get a riser? I'm also thinking of getting some folding BUIS for the rear and front.

Well, most people want the reddot to sit up over the flattop. If it is one of those cheaper dots with the built in mount, it will sit too low to be useful.


The ideal choice is a Larue.
