Finally got my 9mm Shield - again

I ordered a 9mm Shield from Palmetto State Armory at the end of last month - They had the gen 1 models for $249.

I used to own 2 Shields when they very first came out - later sold them, but missed having one. It makes a good pocket gun in cargo pants.

Got one again finally - Waited 2 weeks, but it finally arrived....

They are not fancy, but mine (which I bought too early and paid $375 for) has worked like a champ and owes me nothing. At $250 it is one of the best deals going for a carry gun.

I pocket carried one for 3 years before I switched the my Hk P2000. So, I like the little gun.

The Hk is still my main gun, but I may throw this in the pocket on occasion.

I wish I hadn't waited so long to get mine. Pretty much the perfect subcompact for me.

Bought 2 gen1 Shields for me and my Wife for CC. Picked up a third when they were $199 as a backup I have 4K plus rounds thru mine NEVER a malfunction. I carry it daily.

IMHO, the Shield is the best value on the subcompact market today. My Shield is a 1.0 in 9mm, and it's my EDC. Runs like a champ. I am considering going back to .45 for carry, and I rented a Shield 45 on Saturday.
