Finally got my own small but awesome reloading room!

Well, after fighting with my wife for weeks over hobby space in the house, I got my way. I was given a small little pantry room to set it up (hey it's better than nothing). At first look, I thought it would be impossible to have enough room for everything. But after putting my brain to work, I came up with a small but useful design to make it right! It may be a small room, but it sure is mine! Now instead of being in the garage where it's either really hot or freezing cold, I am now sitting inside in the comfort of my A/C....secluded from the wife and kids! yay!

You got a nice set-up really. Small but nice. I remember when I started I used the pantry. It was so small I just opened the door and clamped the board that held my press to the wall. Then I would sit in the kitchen and work the press. When I finished I would unclamp the board and put it in the corner with the broom and the mop. Ah the good ol' days.

Hey, you have a place to work. I hope you don't have too many guns to reload for since the space needed to hold powders, loaded ammo, components seems to increase geometrically.

I have a feeling that a reloading room like this is in my future, if the missus and I ever sell the ranch (OK, "ranch-ette") and move to town. Nicely done!

Shelving makes it work, good job. How about - maybe - another shelf on the other wall, just above head high? Can't possibly have too much storage space!

Maybe put that powder measure in a bench stand and mount it on the bench top, to the left of your press and about half way from the front edge? That will position it for good work flow and clear the left end of your bench for cases, bullets and other such stuff.

(It takes a loving woman to give up pantry space, you got a good one!)

Hmm, maybe a secondary location to work on reloading instead of reading gun magazines or playing with your smartphone! Talk about being productive!
