Last year I was in the Czech Republic and got to see a Scorpion EVO 3 in person at the CZ store in Prague for the first time and decided I really wanted one someday. So when CZ announced that they were going to start importing them I was thrilled. I've always been a huge fan of anything CZ, you can call me a fanboy, I'm OK with that:D

Fortunately for me I manage a gun shop so for the past couple months I've been begging my distributor reps to get me one if they could. Well the other day my rep called and said he finally had one and I told him to ship it and couple days later it was in my hands!

The gun feels great but I haven't shot it yet. Trigger is a bit on the heavy side but it breaks clean, the gun balances well and feels very solid and well made. It came with two 20 round mags and a bore snake. Obviously I can't complain about the price since I paid just a little over dealer cost on it:D

Eventually I will SBR it but until CZ releases the 922r compliance kit and stock I can't. Regardless I'll have fun with it as a pistol in the meantime!

Here it is with my Scorpion EVO t-shirt and Scorpion knife I picked up at the CZ shop in Prague.

On the safety biting into the hand: I was shooting the gun yesterday for about 4th time at local range and then I realized that it is completely non issue when I shoot it with the stock. Only when I folded the stock I could feel the safety eating into my hand.

I guess the designers never meant it to be used as a pistol in the first place.

I've been dying to get my hands on one since they've been announced. I have the money for one but I'd like to get my hands on the pistol brace kit and a couple of 30 rd mags first. Not having any luck finding the brace kit in stock at all.

The gun looks alright, but the knife is little weak. I would go for Mikov automatic with Cape Buff horn handles. It would go nicely with that gun.

Do want! I'm waiting on an AR (should be at the FFL tomorrow or the next day) but I think my next gun will be a Scorpion. I already picked up a couple of 30 round mags in anticipation of getting the gun.

When I first saw it I wondered where the tanks were for that cool super soaker. :)
There must be so many reasons this commie state would never let me have one it ain't even funny. Congratulations.

Just FYI, you do not have to wait for the 922r compliance kit to become available before submitting your Form 1 for the SBR, you can go ahead and submit that now and have it engraved, that way when the kit is available you won't have to wait.

Congrats n williams, great pics. now I want one, n thanks for sharing

Yeah that was kinda what I was thinking.

Gonna have to find that Scorpion marked knife someday, if it's a decent blade. ;) My Benchmade Resistor CZ-USA marked knife could use some quality company.

I'm curious what extra mag parts alone will cost.

Nice to see a picture of the parts and hear that they are scheduled for release Aug/Sept

I got them from Impact Guns. They're out of stock atm, but enter your e-mail addy for notification. That's what I did. They seem to get stock in every couple weeks. Seems like the e-mail saying they got them in came to my inbox in the early afternoon. First time their stock lasted a whole day, the second batch went a little quicker. But you shouldn't have to wait to long to get one.

Now that the 922r kit is coming very soon I may even sell my HK USC carbine to get a Scorpion.
