I've been looking for some time and seen many, some in good shape, all pushing or over $1,000.

So, I took a chance on one on internet, with poor pictures, but supposedly good shape. Well it was WAY cheaper than anything I've seen in person and WAY better shape - the best combination possible!

Here are a few pic's.

You'll be able to shoot minute of angle accuracy shooting into the next time zone with that baby.

What a beautiful piece! I have a 27-2 nickel plated and engraved in 8 3/8" that will never leave me! You picked a fine one!

Looking at the front of that cylinder it is hard to tell if it has even been fired.

It's a beauty!

Yep, sig220mw, it was super clean. Did see some slight residue on every other cylinder:cool:

I don't think it was fired other than at the factory. Not sure I can screw up the courage to shoot it. Heck I haven't pulled the trigger on it yet.

Can't take it with you. :)
Might as well enjoy it, at least a bit. If you got it for a decent price, you will never lose money on it.

Wow, she's a sweety !! Outstanding photography,as well.
Oh yeah, you ain't getting off without telling us what that one ran you ;).

Thanks SunnySlopes & S&W-Keeper! I've always wanted a long barrel!

Now I want one. Thanx. My wife'll give you a piece of her mind. Not that she can spare any.

Nice Revolver! I'm soooooo jealous! I too have been looking for a 27-2 with a 8-3/8ths barrel. I hope you enjoy it.

It looks like wonderful range toy. The long barrel and heavy weight will keep "ball of flame" and recoil to minimum should you decide to shoot .357 loads. Another big plus is these things are nearly impossible to wear out.

Very , very nice! I've always loved the look of the 8 3/8" Model 27 - the big N-Frame too me just looks right with the long barrel. I have the same barrel length in a 27-3 and it is really a shooter!

That is a great looking gun. I have a 5" and now two 3 1/2"rs

Halp!! I'm falling.

Very nice. You'll enjoy the heck out of it. Take it out and shoot it. That's what they are for and you can't take them with you.

I own 3, 27-2 8 3/8" blued, 27-3 6" blued and 27-2 4"blued. They only see mild re-loads, easier on me and the guns although they are plenty capable of full magnum loads.

All are excellent guns and scary accurate :D
