Is it possible to buy fine guns at FFLs.Fine guns being guns with engravings, ivory handles, gold plating and so forth. If they can't be found at many FFls where can fine guns like that be found.

I know H&H has a gun room in New York City, of all places. A few Cabelas and Outdoor World stores have fine gun rooms. If fine guns could be found at any FFL, it'd take away from a lot of their value.

One place I know in Houston that has engraved fine firearms, Collectors Firearms. They have darn near the corner on engraved fine guns in the Houston area. Fountain Firearms and Briley (of the screw-in shotgun choke fame) has a few also.

Jaqua's (jake-ways) in Findlay Ohio is where I got to handle a $150,000.00 H&H two barrel set. They also have hundereds of 3-20,000 dollar guns for those on a budget. :)

$150k? that's a poor man's H&H compared to some of their other prices. When you browse their site for a little while a few bucks/round for .470NE starts to sound pretty reasonable.

I've seen a few pretty nice ones (But not $150,000!) at one or 2 of the "better" gunshops in the area. I would pretty much bet they were being sold on consignment. Few good businessmen would tie up alot of money in guns that have a VERY limited audience. For the 20-30K a Parker Bros. shotgun, they can buy 40-50 "normal" guns, that they will have a much better chance selling. There are some "specialists" that sell on the web, I found some when I was researching an L.C. Smith for a friend. But I still suspect they were mostly consignment guns, as the inventories shown were over a million dollars, easily.

However, I do live not far from Doug Turnbull Restorations. He has many of these guns come through to be worked on (I've had the quick tour, my buddy has had so much work done there he's on a first name basis with everyone!) Lots of rare and unique stuff. He also has a few guns for sale at any given time, although most are in the below $10,000 range.

A lot of them show up on line in order to reach a wider audience. Gunsamerica is a good place to look.

There's a Beretta Gallery in NYC.

"Established in the heart of New York’s Madison Avenue in 1995, the façade of the flagship Beretta Gallery has undergone a complete facelift for the new Millennium. Modeled after the Beretta home in Gardone Val Trompia, and embodying the traditional values of its residents, the stone for the New York Gallery’s new hand-chiseled, white and gray façade was extracted from local quarries and delivered from Italy to the United States.
Within the impressive three-story Gallery passionate sportsmen will also find an extensive book selection filled with important works by the best writers and photographers of hunting and outdoors subjects.

Please, note that, due to New York City laws, the New York Gallery does not have handguns on display. This product "

fancy guns like H&H + New York City

what you have to remember, these guns cost $150,00 neighborhood.

the truth of the matter is people who can plop down that much cash are the rich hoity toity upper crust that, similar to celebrities, the politicians and beurocrats bend over backwards to please.

these are the same people who own guns but don't think us unwashed blue collar folk should be able to.

Johnyou were talking about a gun gallery in NYC,and about all the NYC gun permits and restrictions and stuff,im going on vacation to NYC next summer is there any way I could have a gun shipped to an FFL in my town.
