Finally got out to shoot my AR-15 since I finished the mods. It was a decent day, though spring is having a rough time getting started around here, so I thought I'd take a few pics and show it off.

It is a Bushmaster Carbon 15 (C15M4), I use it as my patrol rifle and fun/varmint gun. I've added a CAA stock saddle and grip, Timney trigger, a YHM free floating forearm, replaced the front sight/gas block with a YHM low profile gas block, replaced the Izzy compensator with a Levang Linear Compensator, and had the rear sight "ears" shaved off the rail so I could use lower scope mounts. The scope is a Nikon 4.5-14x with a JPoint mini red dot piggy backed on it. I've also got the requisite vertical fore grip with light for when I take it to work. It's a good shooter, very accurate, sub-MOA, and extremely reliable.

The other gun is my evil black pistol, a Kel-tec PLR-16, wicked good fun, reliable, and more accurate than it has a right to be. It also has a Levang Linear Compensator on it, a Pentax red dot, and the optional forearm with rail.

The pics were taken in my back field, down the hill behind the house. No green here yet but it won't be long (hopefully). Damn this global warming, it's making our winters drag on forever.

I hate you. No really I do. Its has to suck to live on a piece of land that you can shoot on.
