Finished refinishing Shooting Stars for my Pre-27

    As I bought them:

    As they are now:

    CIMG0016_0004.gif

    Procedure included chemical stripping, sanding with superfine sandpaper, and many light coats of Tru-Oil with superfine sanding in between.

    I had thought about asking Keith Brown for a pair of Roper's, but these seem to get me where I wanted to be.
