fiocchi brass?

If you are not looking for maximum accuracy or lifespan, sure the Fiochi stuff is fine. But if you are trying to just get brass, then buy some Lake City mil brass and be done with it. It will outlast anything, and is nearly as consistent the big name stuff with a little work. And it is CHEAP.

For me, being that I run on a progressive, anything with a flash hole too far out of center, gets recycled. I take all my range pickups, and before they go into rotation, they get get decapped on a single stage, and anything that is screwy gets recycled.

I purchased a bunch of Fiocchi 7.62x39 ammo just for the brass. It has all shot well for me, and I have not noticed any off-center flash holes with mine.

As for the flash holes being off-center, besides the possible negatives already mentioned, another problem would be if you are using the Lee trimmer, which uses the flash hole for the pilot. It will still trim, but the case mouth will not be square if the flash hole is off center. I've seen that problem with some Perfecta brass.

Ive reloaded a ton of the 300 BLK stuff and have never seen any indication of off center flash holes.

I had bought a case of 308 Fiocchi factrory loads, and when prepping fired cases for reloading I found no difference in primer pockets, but I did note that the Fiocchi brass has a lower standard diviation in weight (~0.6) than Winchester and Lake City (batches from 0.75 to 1.6), but not Federal. My sampling was 40 rounds of each. On total weight it was about 2% less than LC or Fed, with Winchester running about 5-6% lighter. I look forward to seeing how it does in accuracy testing. My technique may not be perfect, but I use a calibrated electronic scale and all are weighted after complete preparation (cleaning, sizing, trimming, etc.)

Ive been happy enough with the factory loads, but I have noticed that the brass is pretty soft. 2-3 firings and I have to recycle mine. For the most part I dont h

I will note, the biggest offenders for off center holes is the 223 brass. I load a bunch of Fiochi brass in 9mm and 45 ACP and have no issues with that stuff.

I have a batch of 100 Fiocchi 357 Magnum cases that I've reloaded 15 times and they are still going strong. I've used them for mid-range loads but I haven't had one split yet. They've held up better than my Starline brass.
Same here. GFL is great stuff. On par with Winchester, better than Remington revolver brass.

Some of the answers sound like they didn't read the question well. The OP is asking about Fiocchi brass because he is buying factory AMMO. Some of the posts here sound like they think he is buying new brass.
