Fiochi .38 and .357 ammo ?

I'm looking to store away a few rounds of .38 and .357, and the best deal I'm finding is stuff from Fiochi. ( $16 & $17 per box of 50 FMJ's).
We used to really like the Fiochi 9mils, and I don't recall hearing anything unflattering about them, but I thought I should run it by the hive before dropping any cash (er,plastic) . Any good info much appreciated......

I had 500 of them in .38Spl one time. They all shot just fine and felt like any other brand.

Fioochi 357 mag went 148 grains, and 1131 fps out of my 360PD. It's the MOST I can handle out of that gun, and, it gives me the warm and fuzzies, ballistics
wise. It recoils about the same as Buffalobores heavy 38 158 grain at 1040 fps, and, I'd carry either of them.

I purchased some of the wadcutters from ammotogo. They were awesome. I would have purchased more but they are currently out. I carried them in my P32 when I carried it they are pretty warm.

The 142 grain jacketed truncated cone rounds are my favorite .357 factory load. They are cleaner and more accurate than anything else I have tried, including premium defense ammo brands. I buy them whenever I can find them, which sadly, is not very often. Their published velocities are WAY overstated however. I remember reading home chronograph results of about 1100 fps from a 4" barrel, versus 1450 fps on the ammo box.

NoirFan - your favorite .357 load is in stock at ammotogo right now, Dec. 22 (and for a while, already got my half-case a few weeks back). I am just getting used to my first .357 revolver, but have also found the Fiocchi ammo a good round (and the price is great).

Many thanks,all. Yesterday (Tuesday), I ordered 4 boxes of 50 Fiocchi .357 FMJ's, and a box of Golden Sabres for $98, delivered !! They shipped that very day,kept me posted by e-mail through every step, and they're scheduled for delivery on Friday, which of course, is Christmas Eve !!

I really like their .357 Magnum ammo and I use Fiocchi 60gr SJHP .32 Auto ammo in my Kel-Tec P-32.

In the last year or so I’ve shot up 500 to 600 rounds of assorted fiochi 38special +P and .357 magnum ammo. I’ve been very pleased with it and would not hesitate to use it again
