Good DOJ report discussing firearms use by criminals... guess what the smallest category of use was?
Military-style semi-automatic firearms... less than 2.5% of subjects had ever used on in a crime and less than 6% ever owned one.
On the other hand, non semi-auto weapons represented the largest category used by criminals with 14% ever using one in the commission of a crime and over 30% owning one (even though the report mentions that 83% of respondents were already disqualified from legal firearms ownership).
Good stats for the fight.
