As Prvi (Serbia) produces very good .303 etc and Uly (Russia) a good bit of 7.62x39, have these disasters stopped production of common sporting calibers, or only certain types, for weeks or longer?
Have not read whether Wolf/Tiger/Bear are also produced at Ulyanovsk, or at least in the same building(s) where the tragedy took place.
When we remember that a tragedy also happened at a Bulgarian ammo depot recently, it makes me wonder whether any basic safety procedures are followed (or is sobriety a factor?).
Having twice (+) read "Mig Pilot", co-authored by Lt. Viktor Belenko years ago, his descriptions of Russian culture under the Soviets was an eye-opener.
