I was wondering if anyone had an idea what the value of a Star Firestar 45 would be. I see someone on Gunbroker.com is offering one. The bid is up to $265, the reserve is not met yet and they have a buy it now price of $420. It seems a little steep to me but I'm not a gun values expert.
    Thanks

The price sounds high at $400. I had one and it was a good gun. I personally wouldn't pay over $275 just because getting replacement parts is going to be a big problem if something breaks. Mine broke a slide stop. Mark

I would say $300 tops if it is in new/like new condition and comes with the original case and paperwork.

I have one and paid a tad over $300 after dealer fees etc .

Decent gun but for $400 get an RIA , it is 100% parts compatable with true 1911's .
