Firestorm hybrid?

I recently picked up one of those Firestorm 1911 clones at a gun show and I'm a bit confused. I haven't seen another one like it in my research, but this one appears to be an older Llama make (says made in spain on the lower and "Fabrinor Vitoria {espana} on the upper). What has me confuzzled is that mine has a stainless steel lower with Firestorm grips in rubber and I'm told not interchangeable with milspec grips. Anyone know if this is a fluke gun or a model from WAY back?
