Hello everyone. First post. Looking forward to hanging out, trying not to be *too* crotchety and maybe learning a thing or three. 
I just picked up a used '00-'03 FireStorm .45 Mini Compact 1911 (-ish) on the cheap, and I'd like to find some new grips for it. Trouble is, the company that manufactured it at the time (Fabrinor out of their Vitoria factory in Spain), has since gone belly up. Bersa, it seems, has purchased the FireStorm brand, but there is no mention of these guns at all on the Bersa site.
They took some liberties with the standard 1911 design, one of which was incorporating tabs coming off the back edge of the grips to cover ports on each side in the grip right at the grip safety, so normal 1911 grip panels won't work.
Does anyone know where I might find grip panels for an oddball gun like this?
