How do you like your Firestorm Mini 45?
I'm impressed with the decocker (as opposed to the 1911 cocked and locked carry), double action, sights, grip and the way it shoots. Out of the box it digested 100 without a burp and was pretty accurate out to 15 yd. I could stay in the red at that range, and at 7 yds shot a 2/12" ragged hole with one flyer.
100 rds doesn't guarantee reliability, but its a good start. I like the gun a lot, and the price of about $319 was super.
I can't find any magazine articles on it. Anyone seen one?

Combat Handguns Review

You may have seen it by now but the June issue of Combat Handguns (don't know much about this magazine) has an article about the Mini-45. It caught my eye and I was thinking about posting here for information on the gun as it seems to have the features I'm looking for in one of my next purchases. A search brought me to your post.

Anyone else have any experience with the Mini Firestorm either in the .45 or 9mm version? If so any comments, good or bad?

I was interested in the firestorm so I did some research. It seems that Llama and Firestorm are basicly the same gun, with the Firestorm being the higher quality version. Also the Bersa Thunder and Firestorms .380 seem to be the same way as the Llama vs. the Firsestorm. I also found out that Firestorm dealers are region specific and I can't get one here in Ar. without ordering it.

Pic to clarify

Wanted to post a pic of the gun I was referring to. From reading different posts there seems to sometimes be confusion on the different "Bersa" named guns. I believe it is the one Tom originally posted about and is the one I am considering. This is a 9mm but the .45 looks pretty much the same.

Ringer... you're right about the pic. The slide release and decocker are ambidextrous too.... very good pistol.
Tom.
