Firestorm .45 Mini Compact

I have been interested in this gun since I first found one. I was first taken with the 9mm, yet I wanted another .45. So the .45 Mini is available and is only slightly larger, 7+1 capacity. I noticed on the Firestorm web site, under the products page they have listed a Firestorm .45 Mini Compact, which seems to be a copy of the 9mm/.40SW, a SA, double stack 10+1 compact with totally ambi controls. This is a Special Edition for 2004 model.

I found a dealer that will order for me and got a qoute of $300. Does anyone have any time with this exact piece? I need to know grip thickness, recoil and operation.

once again only interested in comments on this 45 MC only ... I have read the archives of Bersa/Firestorm comments, very fun.

This handgun seems to be getting alot of attention lately. At least 5 threads that I know of.

I handled a .40 Mini Firestorm today. Has ambi safety/decocker and also an ambi slide release. The handle felt great in my hand.

I will be the .45 soon.
