First 20 rounds of 357 Max.

So I loaded my first cartridges in about 25 or so years. These are 357 Maximum with 158 grain Fury short spitzers. These first loads are any where from 20-22 grains of Alliant 300 MP. These are just my starting loads. Hoping to get to around 24 or so when all is said and done. I am shooting these from a 20 inch MGM Encore barrel. I will be checking for pressure signs after every shot. I.e. difficult extraction, cratered primers, loose primers ect. My ultimate goal is to safely get as close to 2400fps as I can. I think 300 MP might be a pretty good choice, I know there are more popular choices like AA1680 and H110, but had no luck finding those. I spoke with Mike Bellm the king of the Max. and he thought the burn rate of 300 MP should work pretty well. I will test these sometime this week or weekend, and document my results.
