I would like to thank everyone on this forum for all the help to get me going. I purchased a Mec jr mrk v and just completed my first batch of 150 shotshells. Its nice to have a place to gather knowledge and trade ideas.

Thanks, Ball00

Good for you, well done. Now go out and have some fun shooting those shotshells. Don't forget to post a range report after you shoot.

Well here's the range report from my frist batch. Of the 50 rounds I shot I broke 48 of those little orange pigeons. My (little) brother shot 40 of 50. All in all I would say it was a very good test of my recipe. The recipe is AAHS hulls, 18.2 grs of Clays powder, 1 1/8 oz of 7 1/2 shot, w209 primers and WT12 wads. Thanks to all for the input.

Thanks, Ball00

handload

That's good news for me too, because now I'm semi-retired and have been thinking it would be a skill worth learning. Peace.
