I went and shot a few rounds yesterday with my new (and only) pistol. I walked into the woods and setup a target I made and printed out. I taped the target to a stump of an old tree that had been cut down. I walked back about 15-20 yards, as far as I could go before falling into a creekbed.
I fired my first shot with single action. It amazed me. It was straight above the bullseye, about 1.5" above it. I thought to myself, "Yeah... I'm good."
Anyway... It was fun. I didn't get to shoot but 40 rounds due to the weather. I was shooting some cheap Winchester White Box target rounds from Walmart. It never jammed up on me. My magazines are 15 rounders, but I only loaded 10. It was just easier.
My last 20 rounds were what I'd call rapid fire. They were as fast as I could shoot and still hit the 8.5x11 sheet of paper. I shot all 10 rounds at 1 round per second or faster, as fast as I could reaquire the bulleye anywhere near my front and rear sights. I kept all but one of those 20 "rapid" fire shots on the target. The stray one hit the stump about 3 inches from the paper.
I am happy with my purchase. I"ll go and shoot another 100 rounds next weekend, if not later today!
