Called him into 30 yards by banging around last year's buck's antlers and grunting. Shot him with 15 minutes left in the "shooting day". That being said, low light makes for poor cell phone pictures:

Good news is he dropped right there (in that little meadow on the left) where I shot him. I think those Barnes TAC-TX 110 gr bullets do a fine job!

Would have been a 16" 8-point if he hadn't knocked one of em off. Not a trophy, but not bad for the Tidewater region in VA.

Almost didn't get him outta there...

Nice. I will be using my 300blk with SpecWar this year as well. Its the Ruger American(can't use semi's in PA for hunting) and Nolser 125gr ballistic tips.

good job, i just bought a rem md 7 in 300 blk and put a 2x7 leupold on it and sighted it in yesterday with 110gr hornady factory ammo. i shot a 1.5 " group at 100 yrds, as i only fired 11 shots i think it will do better after reloading for it. i would like to try 125 nosler BT bullets. eastbank.

Not a neck shot... in the other shoulder, bullet didnt come all the way through.

I think yours is the first picture I have seen of a buck taken with the .300 BLK...good job.

Even better when you get to combine a hunting trip with "Goin Muddin" :).

Just my .02,
LeonCarr
