Greetings!
It was a good Christmas/Birthday this year. I got a Bushmaster AR and much to my surprise and help from my wife, a Kimber TLE II. What a girl!
We both headed out of the 'burbs yesterday to the public range up in the mountains with a couple of hundred rounds of 230Gr. Winchester WallyWhiteBox.
To say that this is the best shooting pistol that I have ever held in my hands is an understatement. I had fired 1 full size Kimber before and have had quite a bit if stick time with a Pro-Carry and they were nice, but this full size TLE II was/is astounding! The action is smoother than my pal's Colt Goldcup. Also, my general impression of 1911's from past experience has been that they were wonderful pistols but a little quirky. Not so with this one. No jams, no stovepipes and no fail to feed.
You can't go wrong with this 1911.
