OK, You all know the first knife I made, that I forgot to heat treat. :banghead:

So, I Stared over, heat treat to orange, Quenched in oil, cleaned up again :banghead: tempered again :banghead:. Then I took the time to make the oak scale and pinned them using Valkmans method (thanks Don)

This is what you get when you follow HSO's detailed instructions:D

I figure about 30 hours or more into this thing, At $20.00/hr I got a $500.00 knife

Not a bad job at all. Let us know how well the heat treatment took. I'd like to know how the edge holds.

...................WHATS NEXT?

Glad you asked:) Found an old carbon steel boning knife at a yard sale.

Going to try to...............Uh on second thought, wait for the pics:evil:

Thanks
Doc
