I went shooting with my girlfriend and tried out a couple of spinning targets from http://www.metaltargets.com/Home.htm. I purchased a Single Magnum Spinner and a Single Rimfire spinner. Currently, they are including a free base with Magnum and High Velocity spinners as well. Here in AZ, the base is necessary as the dirt is like a rock.

I had some phone contact and email contact and all was very courteous and nice with the people I spoke to. The base was modified to fit both the Magnum and Rimfire spinner for free so that I could take advantage of the special going on. It took less than a week for the heavy package to arrive. And I discovered my single Rimfire spinner was upgraded to a double for free.

Long story short, the targets appear to be well made and stood up to the first range outing with no issues. The support bars were hit a "few" times by errant shots but show no damage. The Rimfire spinner spins nicely and is fun for both of us to shoot at the same time. It soaked up about 350 rounds of HP 22 and looks fine. A spray of new paint and it looks great again.

The Magnum spinner took about 70 rounds of .38 special and 40 rounds of .357 Magnum. The page recommends hollow point or cast bullets but all we had on hand was FMJ. The targets took it in stride and we had it far enough away to cut back chances of injury from any ricochet of the jacket.

I had been looking for some steel target options for a while and like what I have purchased from the company. In case anybody else is looking for some, I would give this a recommendation based on early range results. I would like to test more but the base special is only for this month.
