Well I don't have the glass for it yet but I mounted a cheap Bushnell 4-12 scope on it and took my test loads out for a trial session. The set-up is a Savage LRP in .260 Remington, Warne 20MOA base, Burris Extreme Tactical rings. I was using Varget and H4350 for powder and Federal Match primers. The brass is Winchester 7mm-08 necked down and topped with Berger 140gr VLDs. I was going to shoot a ladder test for spread but since I was at a 100yd yard range I decided on groups. I forgot to bring sandbags or a steady rest so it was my sweatshirt rolled up, not the best rest but it worked. The best group was 40.2 grains of H4350, measuring less than 1/2 in. I think all the groups could have been better but it gives me some idea of where to start. I will need to get used to the trigger or give it a slight adjustment. I am not used to such a light weight trigger. I broke in the rifle using the Speedy Gonzales method. I am very impressed so far with the rifle but after I dial it in with the better glass I will comment more.

Here's a few of the groups and one of the rifle. I did not have a camera at the range. Next time I go I will have a camera, a better rest, and a chono.

Congratulations on your purchase! It looks like you doing better then what I had with LRP. You might want to consider lighter bullets like 120 - 123 gr to develop freebore for those VLD's...

My opinion on the quality of this rifle will be held until I shoot it with a good rest and scope.

did you try 5 shot groups with it, 3 shot wouldn't show full spread. What you have to look is consistency in groups with the same load, also you have to play with torque on those action screws, I don't think they are set correctly at the factory.
