I am relatively new to reloading, about 1 year now, and found little data for 45acp and Xtreme's 200gr flat point bullets. Also just acquired a LabRadar chronograph. Thought I would share the following data and would like to know if anyone else has an opinion on whether it seems reasonable. Loading with Bullseye, CCI large pistol primers and federal used brass on a Hornady LNL AP. Test loads were fired in a CZ 97B and a Springfield 1911 Stainless Steel Range officer. COL as 1.200. Reported is average for 5 rounds.
Vo (fps) V10 (fps)
gr CZ 1911 CZ 1911
4.6 758 786 746 775
4.8 777 778 764 771
5.0 806 820 790 807
5.2 827 844 818 832

Same except COL 1.220
5.0 793 814 783 804
I was a bit surprised at the consistent difference in velocity between the two full sized pistols. I believe I will use the 5.0 load for a while and look at accuracy results. (Not expecting too much at my age, 67).

Also tested some Berrys 185 round nose hollow base bullets with 4.4 gr Bullseye and got the following results (very soft shooting)
4.4 626 648 626 640

By the way, any opinions on the LabRadar unit. Working out the kinks, first time had a lot of non-trigger events. Seems to have greatly improved 2nd round with small tripod mount on bench. However any thought on reliability and repeatability?

Doesn't sound to unreasonable, but I have never shot with Bullseye before either. I usually shoot a 10 rd string for averages.
5.7 (-.10%) seems to be the start for bullseye on the 185 so I guess as long as it cycles the gun it seems to work for you but think about going up some.
I run the same COL on my 200's

In my experience consistent velocity difference between guns is very common. Rifling, bore smoothness, bore diameter, etc. all play a big role. More so even than ammo variables. Thanks for info OP.
