Whenever I go to Mass, and I can't carry my pistol, I carry a couple items for use as fistpacks. Does anyone else do this? If so, what do you carry?

One of my primary carry 'packs is an ordinary everyday Bic lighter. It adds ridgidity to my fist, yet doesn't add extra weight. Whenever I'm wrenching on a truck or car at my friend's shop, I carry a 5/8" spark plug socket. And whenever I'm on my way to the bank I carry a roll of quarters, nickles, dimes, or pennies. I've had to defend myself with my fists before, and that particular day I was carrying the quarters. From first hand experience I can tell you that striking with a roll of quarters in your fist can be pretty devestating to whatever you hit...

I'm currently carrying a swiss army knife with a loop of para cord through the keychain split ring.
The loop is big enough for me to put the sak round my neck for when i havn't got any free pockets and doubles as a wrap when wound round the knife body for use as a fist load.

If time allowed when a situation errupted, I'd be inclinded to unfold the corkscrew to protude between my fingers:evil:

SAK's are one of the few legal carry options here in the UK.

One of the metal Surefire variants or a knockoff would probably do well. About the right size and shape, weight is up for debate, and it's got a function other than slugging people.

There are a number of choices from the kubaton to comtech stinger. However one of the best choices is an ordinary flashlight. I usually carry a mini mag light or Inova XO3 or X5T. Another good choice is the Streamlight Baton Lite. Rumor has it that Streamlight discontinued the baton lite so they may be getting a little harder to find.

Check out this site and look under fistloads or baton lite. He also recommends the CMG Infinity flashlight now called the Gerber Ultra Infinity.
