I already have a 10-22 in SS and wood with a cheapo scope. Fairly accurate but not the bull barrel. I saw a levergun I liked just like my grandpa's used to be or so it seemed and liked it. Marlin I think? I also saw a target stock and barrel at Cabela's for the 10-22. I'd love to do both, but limited space and $. Which way to go and how much will it cost me? Stock and barrel for 10-22 came to 340-380 depending on barrel. Teach me o wise ones!:):neener::)

You can spend a lot of money on bolt on goodies that won't make the rifle shoot much better [the 10/22 can already shoot better than most human users] or you can get a whole 'nuther gun? You'd best let me think a minute....done!Get another gun.UNLESS it means getting rid of the Ruger. There is never a good reason to get rid of a 10/22!
