Alright so after browsing the web awhile and seeing there were others having the exact same issue as I was with my Hawk 982 I found a fix. The problem was on the last shell it would sometimes get only half ejected from the tube and not get lifted. A little pull on it would get it to come out all the way and it resumed fire just fine, after changing out to a higher power spring, polishing the tube, changing the follower and then getting an even stronger spring the problem still persisted. So I carefully looked to see what was causing the hold up. It was on the left inner wall a small piece that was right below the action bar. It sticks out just enough and a squared edge to stop the shell from cycling smoothly. Grabbed the handy Leatherman file and rounded the squared edge and 200 rounds problem free now! Now I'm happy with this gun enough to honor it with trunk duty :D
