Do you prefer fixed or adjustable sights on Glocks? Are the fixed sights accurate for the most part? There's a significant cost savings over the adjustable kind.

I suppose the question could be posed for more handguns, but I'm only looking at Glocks atm.

Mine's a range toy, the stock plastic fixed sights are no more durable than good steel adjustables.
Now, if you went all out and upgraded to some nice steel fixed sights, that's great. But don't fool yourself, the stock plastic fixed sights suck.

I hate the stock sights, and reload all of my ammunition for my Glocks. I put quality steel adjustable sights on them right out of the box. I like being able to adjust the sights for my preferred hold and dial them in exactly for the ammo being used.

The stock plastic Glock sights are a weak point of the design. Both the adjustable and fixed plastic sights are too fragile.

My carry Glock has steel night sights.

I prefer fixed, based entriely upon the pistol's intended usage.

My Glock 34 has adjustable Meprolight tritium sights installed.

My Glock 26 has fixed Meprolight tritium sights installed.

Since I own pistols with both type of sights and am satisfied with the performance of both types of sights on the pistols that they have been installed all I can say is that whatever type of sight you elect to use, by all means get the tritium inserts, these are more important than the adjustability of the sight system in my opinion.
