Man Wakes Up And Finds Bullet Lodged In Tongue

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police say a Jacksonville man awoke Monday with a serious headache -- a bullet lodged in his tongue.

Police say 47-year-old Wendell Coleman walked 12 blocks to a hospital after waking up with a very bad headache. His lip was swollen, he appeared to have powder burns and he had trouble speaking.

Doctors found a bullet in Coleman's tongue.

Coleman told police that a woman stuck a gun barrel in his mouth during a dispute around 2:30 Monday morning. He told police that he heard the gun go off.

Police say Coleman then went home to sleep.

What authorities did with the bullet wasn't clear Monday night.

I dont know why, but this line had me LMAO

Yes, the possibilities are endless.... What DID they do with that thing.

Let me get this straight:
1) Man is in argument with woman.
2) Woman shoots man in head (tounge is considered part of the head).
3) Man thinks nothing of it, goes to sleep.
4) After "sleeping on it", man decides to walk to the hospital to have coincidentally-occuring headache diagnosed.

I don't know about you, but if I were shot anywhere, and suffered powder burns and so forth, I definitely would be going to the hospital post-haste.
