Flash hole size

While cleaning a batch of mixed 45ACP brass, I noticed that the flash hole size was different between the different makes of brass. I always sort my brass, and load each lot by case manufacturer. But will this flash hole size difference, have any effect on my handloads?

For plinking/practice, no.

Some match shooters may argue that size of flash may affect powder burn rate.

I don't sort by flash hole size, even for my match loads. What I do is range test them (my qualifier being 2" group at 15 yards) - if reloads meet this, it's good enough for match shooting.

Flash hole size falls squarely in the "no problem" column.
