Flash holes?

I've been cleaning out primer pockets all day on assorted .45 Auto brass and I've noticed a lot of different flash holes.

Is a big hole better than a small one? Or is one better suited for a specific purpose?

45 ACP? Doesnt matter a bit. Just load them.

You have standard .45 ACP brass mixed in with lead-free .45 ACP brass.

The extra extra large (1/8") flash holes are from lead-free ammo.
And they may be Small pistol primers instead of Large pistol primers.
And they may also be crimped in place.

It doesn't make any difference at all. Just load and shoot, and repeat as necessary.
